Previous Consultations

This page contains the results of consultations that have now finished.

It is very important to us that you can see what impact your views have had, so we will publish three key things for all completed consultations:

  • "We asked" - a summary of what the consultation was about
  • "You said" - the answers you gave us
  • "We did" - the changes that we have made in response to your views

Draft Housing Services Improvement Plan|

We consulted on the draft Housing & Homelessness Services Improvement Plan following an inspection by the Scottish Housing Regulator in 2011.

Opening date: 12 March 2012
Closing date: 27 April 2012

Housing Estate Management|

We wanted to make sure our draft Housing Estate Management Policy covered all of the issues that are important to Council tenants and other service users. The purpose of the policy is to explain what services are available and how we will work in partnership to keep our neighbourhoods pleasant and safe.

Opening date: 12 March 2012
Closing date: 27 April 2012

Antonine Wall|

Falkirk Council, Falkirk Community Trust along with neighbouring Councils and Historic Scotland have responsibility for the Antonine Wall and would like to know what people know about the wall and how we can make the most of it.

Opening date: 22 February 2012
Closing date: 02 April 2012

Keeping Children Safe|

The Council wants everyone to know that they have a role in keeping children safe. Therefore we want the views of the community on how to go about this.

Opening date: 22 February 2012
Closing date: 02 April 2012

Zero Waste Strategy|

The previous Waste Strategy for the Council was the Forth Valley Area Waste Plan published in 2003. This new strategy is being developed in response to the major policy changes arising from the Scottish Government’s Zero Waste Plan. The emphasis is now firmly on preventing waste and also recognising that waste materials are actually an important economic resource. We are looking for your feedback on what is proposed.

Opening date: 22 February 2012
Closing date: 02 April 2012

Falkirk Local Development Plan – Main Issues Report|

We consulted on the Main Issues Report of the Falkirk Local Development Plan, which identifies the key planning and land use issues facing the area and identifies the Council’s preferred approach to tackling these issues, including preferred sites for development.

Opening date: 18 November 2011
Closing date: 10 February 2012

Advice Services|

We were interested in finding out what advice services were known, whether they had been used and if so, were people happy with the service they received.

Opening date: 05 December 2011
Closing date: 09 January 2012

Citizens Panel Review|

We wanted to make sure that the Citizens Panel is running as well as it can, so we were looking for some feedback from panel members.

Opening date: 05 December 2011
Closing date: 09 January 2012

General Community Participation|

The Council approved ‘Have your Say’ in April 2011, which is our plan for community involvement. We are keen to listen to the views of people across the council area, so that we can continually improve our services and make sure we are meeting local needs. We wanted to find out a bit more about how you think we are doing so far, so that we know what we need to work harder at.

Opening date: 05 December 2011
Closing date: 09 January 2012
