Local schools are making innovative use of information technology.
Pupils and teachers from over 70 nursery, primary, secondary and special schools demonstrated how technology is making a real difference to learning and helping to raise attainment at Falkirk Council’s ICT Fair.
Technology is being used in a variety of exciting ways at all stages and areas of the curriculum, including interactive yearbooks, motivating pupils by using interactive whiteboards in classrooms and using blogging and podcasting software to record events, activities and experiences of the school day.
Feedback from teachers shows that pupils are generally more eager to take part as they use the ICT equipment to engage with learning.
