The Corporate Plan sets out the goals and values of the Council, ie what we are trying to achieve and how we will go about our business. The current plan covers the period 2008-2011. Each year we report on how the Council has performed and what it has achieved.
Our priorities are aligned with the vision and themes contained within the Strategic Community Plan and thus underpin our contribution to achieving the outcomes within our Single Outcome Agreement. Our goals are:

Progress against the outcomes in the plan
Underpinning each of the goals in the plan, we have four outcomes. These outcomes are incorporated within our Single Outcome Agreement under an appropriate national outcome, along with the relevant indicators that will measure progress.
This report provides an achievements statement, together with performance relevant to our goals and outcomes. In general terms that on the majority of our objectives we are making good progress. A traffic light system has been used to provide clarity as to whether we have improved performance on a particular indicator or not.
