Falkirk District Credit Union is a not-for-profit responsible alternative to a bank.  They provide a safe, convenient place for members to save money and to get loans and other financial services at reasonable rates.

The council has signed up to the payroll scheme which means employees can pay into their Credit Union account directly from your wages.  Once you join and pay in £50 (through payroll) you can apply for a loan up to the value of £300.

Another new option available is a Family Loan.  You can now pay your child benefit directly into your Credit Union account to qualify.  You can borrow up to £300 once your payments have reached £50.
