The Executive agreed to an increase in taxi fares.

The increase, the first since 2013, will see the fee for the initial hire of the taxi rise by 50p to £2.50 and the ‘running mile’ cost increase from £1.78 to £1.96 (an increase of 10%).

The increases come into effect on 30 September 2018.
