Falkirk Council has retained its Gold Healthy Working Lives award, following an annual review by NHS Health Scotland.
The Healthy Working Lives award helps to improve the health, safety and wellbeing of employees by identifying issues in a structured and productive way. Practices help the workforce be healthier, more motivated and more productive.
Supported by NHS Health Scotland, the award helps businesses and organisations:
- develop clear and robust policies
- set high standards of health, safety and wellbeing for employees
- find ways to be socially responsible and care for the environment
News of retaining the award followed the 2019 Wellbeing Survey, the outcomes of which will be released soon.
Falkirk Council is one of just 220 organisations in Scotland to hold a Gold Healthy Working Lives award.
