The Grangemouth Petroleum & Chemical Complex Major Incident Control Committee (MICC) Community Warning System will be tested Wednesday 6 December at 2.30pm.

Grangemouth residents will not be required to take any action when the petrochemical plant warning system is activated at that time.

The warning system will transmit warning tones and verbal instructions to the public to ensure they are aware of the different tones and know how to react in the event of a major toxic gas release.

In the event of an actual emergency taking place during the test, the transmission via the warning system will clearly indicate such an event and you should Go In, Stay in, Tune in.
