Hearing Aid Batteries

You should find you were given a yellow record book when you got your hearing aid(s). If not, then let us know, and we'll make sure you receive one. This is where we keep a record of the type of batteries required, and numbers of them issued.

We try and keep battery exchange to a postal service only. New batteries should be requested when half of your supply is used. We don't need the old ones back - these can be recycled. For some types of hearing aid this will be one packet at a time per aid. Some hearing aids however use batteries a bit quicker and we might need to supply more at a time.

Our address should be on the reverse cover of the yellow book. If you post the yellow book in to this address, we will check what type what type of batteries are required and post out a new supply.

You will also find it tells you on the back of the yellow book what times our repair departments are open should you require this service.

The Sensory Centre also keeps a small supply of batteries for issue.
