Falkirk has many attractions, ideal for a day trip or longer break.

In Falkirk, Callendar House tells stories of 1,000 years of Scottish history, while the house and adjacent Park Gallery host exhibitions. 

The magnificent Callendar Park has remains of the Antonine Wall

The Falkirk Wheel opened in 2002. A unique boat trip on the Wheel will lift you 115 feet through the air in a matter of minutes. 

Nearby, there is Extreme Karting and the Mariner Leisure Centre.

See the Barbara Davidson Pottery at Larbert and visit the famous Dunmore Pineapple near Airth.

On the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway, your steam train ride will take you to former clay mine Birkhill Caverns. 

While in the area, visit Bo’ness Motor Museum, and Blackness Castle on the Firth of Forth.

Also visit Falkirk town centre, one of Scotland’s leading shopping centres.
