To choose the streetlight you want to report a fault for, first find the streetlight on the map by using either: the zoom and pan tools in the top left corner of the map OR 'the find streetlight by nearby address' option OR the 'find streetlight by identity code' option.
When you can see the streetlight you want on the map, click on the yellow star on the map and click report this lighting column.
If there is no yellow star on the map for the streetlight you want to report, you can still report the fault by using the define streetlight location on the map option and clicking where the streetlight should be.
Find street light by nearby address. To search for an address near the street light, type an address or part of an address in the search box and click 'search'. A list of matches will be displayed. Click on the address nearest to your street light and the map will zoom to that address.
Find street light by identity code. To search for a street light using the identity code, enter the identity code in the search box and click 'search'. A list of matches wil be displayed. Click on the code for the street light you wish to report and the map will zoom to that street light.
Define street light location on the map using a
point. Simply click on the map in the place where your street light should be located.
