Learning can take you places…
Adult learning is a key feature of community learning and development. We work closely with our partners in providing a first step back into learning for the many adults and young people who may have missed out on their own education, or who find they now need new and different skills for life today.
We are here to support and encourage adults who do not traditionally participate within our education system.
Fundamental to our work is the promotion of lifelong learning, equality of opportunity, active citizenship, social inclusion and improved participatory democracy.
Most people come back into learning when they need to make a change in their life, for example, learning how to use the internet, keeping up with the children, having to pass a theory driving test or needing to write reports at work.
Our work is designed around the needs of individuals and the communities in which they live.
