Bonnybridge Community Education Centre

Bonnybridge Community Education Centre is currently closed due to a fault with the central heating system.

Bonnybridge Community Education Centre is one of largest community centres in the Falkirk area. Recently upgraded, with a sports hall with changing rooms and showers. Three separate general purpose areas of various sizes, good sized Kitchen, and a newly refurbished IT Suite with new computers.

Badminton Club

All over 18s welcome regardless of ability. The class is a fun and enjoyable way to keep fit. Singles and doubles. All you need is a badminton racquet, suitable clothing and trainers. The group meets every Friday from 7.30-10.00pm.

Baton twirling

This is a newly formed group for school-aged children.

Bernadette Sloan Dancing Classes

children's dance classes, classical ballet, tap, modern and freestyle. There is a yearly performance show and dance grade awards. Class start times depend on the age group, the first class starts on a Friday at 2.30pm. A uniform is required after the first seven weeks attendance. Classes cost £3.00-4.00 per visit payable in advance in six week blocks.

Bonnybridge Youth Football Club

Developing youth football within the local community this club has a range of age groups for ages 5-19 years. Equipment required: football boots/trainers and shin guards. Football strips are supplied by the club. Groups meet on various times and days depending on age group.

Brig Athletic

This five-a-side football team meets for a general kick about and is always looking for new members to improve skills. All you need is suitable clothing, trainers and shin guards. The group meets every Thursday from 7.00-8.00pm.

Carpet bowlers

Indoor carpet bowling. There is no age limit and all abilities are catered for. Competition league and trophies played for. Equipment required: carpet slippers/bowling shoes or gym shoes. Bowls are supplied by group. The Group meets three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 12.30–3.30pm).

First 4 Kids

Term-time out-of-school care with the main priority to give children a fun and safe environment after school. All children receive a snack and take part in a wide range of activities suitable for all ages. All workers are police checked and have up-to-date child protection training. The Group operates Monday to Thursday 2.30-6.15pm and Friday from 1.30-6.15pm. Cost varies depending on times required.

H & L Dancing

Sequence and old-time dancing mainly for seniors, but all adults are welcome. A great way of meeting new friends and keeping in touch with old ones. New members always welcome. All you need is comfortable dancing shoes. Groups meets every Wednesday from 2.00-4.00pm. Cost per visit 50 pence plus centre membership.

Model Rail

This club for model rail enthusiasts has, over the years, developed a permanent display and organises and runs a yearly model rail exhibition. Always looking for similar minded people to join the club. The Group meets every Tuesday and Friday from 7.00-10.00pm.

Netball

Ladies netball group that plays for fun and to keep fit. All females welcome regardless of age and ability. No equipment required, only suitable clothing and trainers. The group meets on Thursdays at 8.00pm.

Parent & Toddlers

A meeting of parents and children to interact and play. The Group is open to all parents with children from birth to 4 years. Many different toys and activities are available and the club is a great place to meet new friends who have similar needs. At least one parent/carer has to remain with the children in their care at all times. The group meets term times every wednesday from 9.30am.

Shotokan Karate

This club is a member of the Scottish Budokan Aassociation and is governed by Scottish Karate. All instructors are qualified to the highest standard. 

Everyone welcome regardless of ability, and you do not have to be fit. All you need is loose comfortable clothing in the first instance, thereafter a karate suit. The group meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 8.00pm.

Streetdance

Dance group for boys and girls from 5-16 years. All the latest dance moves are learend to create a high energy dances. All you need is trainers and lots of energy. Classes depend of age and run term time on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6.30pm. Costs £12.00 for six weeks.

Thursday Club

Fortnightly social club entertainment for mainly pensioners who enjoy meeting, dancing, talking and generally having a great time. Open to everyone: the more the merrier.

Women's Link Group

This is a women's self support group who help each other and have the backing of a community worker. While this is a social group other activities are programmed in  to suit the needs of the group. We also run a creche facility where the children are cared for by qualified child workers. The group meets on a Tuesday and Thursday 9.30-12.00 noon.

WRVS Disabled Club

Social meetings with entertainment and refreshments for less able bodied over 60s. The group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month between September and May.

Yoga

A relaxing gentle exercise class suitable for all ages and physical abilities. This is a self supporting group that meets on a Thursday from 10.00-11.30am.  All that is required is suitable loose clothing and yoga mat.
