Community council
Community Councils are non- party political groups set up in local areas and elected by local people. They are supported by Falkirk Council and have a legal status which gives them certain rights. For example, they must be consulted about prominent local planning and licensing issues. They discuss local problems and work on ways of solving them. Non members can attend and even help out with their campaigns.
They hold their meetings on the last Thursday of each month from 7.00pm – 9.00pm.
