Girls Health Group

The Girls Health Group is a project for girls aged 14 to 17 years. The project runs for about 20 weeks and includes group outings and a residential.

During the 20-week programme the group learns about health issues that affect young people’s lives. This aims to give them a better understanding of health so they can make more informed choices about their own life.

Taking part in this group also gives young people an opportunity to gain a youth achievement award, which is where they are acknowledged for the time they are dedicating and can receive formal certificates that can help with employment opportunities.

If you would be interested in taking part in a Girls Health Group then contact us using the details given on this page.
