Straight Talk

Straight Talk logo
Straight Talk is a peer education project for Falkirk which involves the training of young people aged 16yrs to 20yrs to pass on information about alcohol to other young people "to become Peer Educators!".

The peer educators develop the skills to talk to other young people about the facts about alcohol to allow young people to make more informed choices about their lives.

Straight talk peer educators are ready to deliver alcohol education workshops to young people around falkirk. If you would like to find out more or to book a workshop for your youth group please contact Derek Keir.

If you are interested in becoming a Peer Leader in order to empower other young people with your experience and knowledge through training, contact Derek Keir:

  • You will have fun
  • You will feel relaxed
  • You will meet new friends
  • You will increase your confidence
  • You will learn new skills

So if you are aged between 16yrs & 20yrs and think you might be interested and committed to learning or you want more information on where you can look for new opportunities please contact Derek Keir or Bill Little.
