Film development in Falkirk
In addition to the diverse range of films being programmed at FTH Cinema, other projects being undertaken by the Film Development Officer include:
Support for the Focus Young Filmmakers group
Focus Young Filmmakers Falkirk is part of the Falkirk Council Arts Development Team's programme and is open to all young people in Falkirk in S3 to S6.
Focus members will be introduced to and develop a range of skills and concepts associated with film and filmmaking. Focus sessions are led by a professional filmmaker and will be a training ground for anyone wanting to learn about filmmaking or looking for the support to make their film project a reality.
Focus takes place on Monday evenings 6.30pm–8.30pm and runs during term time. There is currently no charge for membership and attendance of Focus.
