Film classification
The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC ) is an independent body that classifies films with various ratings, including Uc, U, PG, 12, 12A, 15 and 18.
The BBFC has four websites, including Parents British Board of Film Classification|, which provides parents with in depth information about the content of films, DVDS and games, allowing them to make an informed decision on what may or may not be suitable for their children.
Parents and teachers of children aged 5-12 years and younger might like to visit the BBFC's children's website Childrens British Board of Film Classification|.
Please use these websites to supplement the certificate information provided in our What's On guide.
