Continuing professional development courses are available to teachers through a series of twilight sessions run throughout the year, either on request or as part of the in-service days programme.
All sessions include a guided tour of Callendar House and/or Kinneil Museum, an opportunity to see the educational facilities and resources available, and a chance to meet the learning assistant team and try out some of the activities on offer.
Teacher placement opportunities
In addition to CPD for teachers, Callendar House offers placement opportunities to work directly with the museum education team under the Careers Scotland Scheme 'Excellence in Education Through Business Links'.
