The Museums service operates over four sites: Callendar House| in Falkirk, Kinneil Museum| and Birkhill Fireclay Mine| in Bo'ness and Grangemouth Museum|.
The main object collections are housed at the Museum Workshop| in Grangemouth. Callendar House also provides a base for the Cultural Services Education, Access and Outreach team, the Council Archive| service and for the Archaeology| service.
The museum service aims to:

document, collect, and preserve the heritage and culture of the area for people now and in the future to engage with and enjoy

programme and promote a range of permanent and temporary exhibitions of local and national significance

work with schools, community groups and local residents through our education and outreach programmes

provide visitors to the area with high quality tourist attractions
