The Museums service operates over four sites: Callendar House| in Falkirk, Kinneil Museum| and Birkhill Fireclay Mine| in Bo'ness and Grangemouth Museum|.
The main object collections are housed at the Museum Workshop| in Grangemouth. Callendar House also provides a base for the Cultural Services Education, Access and Outreach team, the Council Archive| service and for the Archaeology| service.
The museum service aims to:

document, collect, and preserve the heritage and culture of the area for people now and in the future to engage with and enjoy

programme and promote a range of permanent and temporary exhibitions of local and national significance
