You can visit any library in the Falkirk Council area to read books, newspapers or magazines, ask for information or use the photocopier, without being a member of the library.
However, if you wish to borrow books, DVDs, videos or other items, or use a PC you will need to join.
You can also access all our online services |with your library ticket number and PIN – even from home. You can now register for library membership, search our online catalog and request books online from any computer.
How do I join?
All you need to do is bring some identification that has your name and address on it (e.g. driving licence or utility bill) and fill in a membership form. If you are under 16 your parent or guardian will need to sign your membership form, and provide proof of name and address.
You can use your membership card at any public library in the Falkirk Council area. You can return books and audio items to any of our libraries. Videos and DVDs should be returned to the library from which they were borrowed.
If you lose your card|, let us know immediately as you are responsible for the items you have borrowed.
