Callendar Park is without doubt 'the jewel in the crown' of the parks within the Falkirk Council area, covering over 170 acres. It is renowned for its beautiful spring displays of daffodils, its spectacular early summer shows of rhododendrons and azaleas and its autumn presentation of natures' artistry in shades of crimson, brown, russet and gold.
Centrepiece of the park is the magnificent chateau style Callendar House Museum. Other attractions include, a variety of outdoor activities for all the family to enjoy including a Par 3, 9 hole golf course, a large play area with bouncy castle, giant slide, crazy golf and electric cars, a boating lake and acres of open grass for games and picnics.
Throughout the summer, various concerts and special events are held within the park and a full programme is available from the Tourist Information Centre. Callendar Park is less than five minutes walk from the centre of Falkirk.
