The Clubs offer a wide range of classes that cater for and can be adapted to suit all ages and abilities.
Abdominal class (Abs)
This class concentrates on the stomach and the back and lasts for 45 minutes. It demonstrates how to find your transverse abdominus muscles, which is an innermost muscle and key to a flat stomach. It is free to monthly members and runs five times a week at Grangemouth| and twice at Bo'ness|.

Active Forth class
This class is primarily designed for Active Forth clients and those whom may benefit from lighter exercise.

Active Kids & Teens
These classes are being run in Grangemouth| and Bo'ness|. They are similar to the kids holiday classes but run during term time in blocks of 6 weeks at a time. All school years will have a slot at some stage in the school year, depending on the block of activities. Ranging from P1s to S4s, girls and boys. The teenagers have the opportunity to join on a teen membership on completion of the six weeks block.

Aerobiking
A cardiovascular form of exercise which can be adapted to suit all levels of fitness. This is a 30 minute class that involves speed cycling, hill climbs and combinations of high and low resistance.

Body conditioning
Excellent toning class using free weights. A combination of strength and endurance work.

Boxercise
A circuit type class which includes the use of boxing bags and focus pads. Boxercise provides a good balance of cardiovascular and toning.

Bums, tums and thighs (BTT)
This is exactly what it sounds like. For a flatter stomach and tighter bum and thighs this is the class for you!

Circuits
This is a good way to tone up and keep fit. The class ranges from skipping to using free weights. Circuit training provides an efficient means of improving cardiovascular condition and muscle tone all in one.

Fitness blast
A mixture of aerobic and toning workouts, helping to improve cardiovascular and muscle tone. These classes are free to monthly members.

Kids activities
This is run during the school holidays. It lets mums, dads and grandparents come into the Club when the kids are on holiday. We warm up, play an assortment of games – like hula hoops and space hoppers – and we take them to the soft play once a week.

Booking information and costs

All classes must be paid in full at time of booking.
Bookings can be taken one week in advance.

Classes are available to monthly members, monthly class members, pay-per-session users and guests.

Pay-per-session members using the gym either before or after the classes will have to pay a fee to enter the club as normal.

Cancellations may be carried forward when 24 hours notice or more has been given. Payment is lost if less than 24 hours notice is given.

You should wear appropriate clothing for the class.

If there are any changes to your pre-exercise questionnaire or any other reasons that you feel may affect your ability to take part in a class, please discuss this with the instructor prior to taking part.

If you feel faint, dizzy or short of breath during the class, please stop exercising and inform the instructor.
