When is the centre open?

Monday to Friday 9:30am-9pm outside the School summer holidays for skiing and Snowboarding only. During the school summer holidays our hours are Mon to Fri 9:30am-4:30pm. Saturdays for Snowboarding only from 10am-4pm all year round. Sundays from 10am-4pm from November to April. We are also closed for a maintenance fortnight in June - check with the centre for details.

When can I visit?

Private lessons and group lessons require pre-booking and can often be booked up in advance so early booking is advised, particularly if you are preparing for a skiing holiday.

Entry into intermediate/advanced group lessons is usually done by means of instructor feedback during a practice or private lesson - please contact the centre for details.

Recreational practice is available whenever lessons are running on the main slope and therefore it is advisable to check by phoning us before you leave to confirm if the slope is available. There may also be some periods
of maintenance or bookings of high numbers when it will be unavailable.

Do I need lessons?

If you can turn, stop and use the ski tow in good control of your speed then you are welcome to use the slope to practice. However, for the safety of everyone on the slope, these standards will be strictly checked by our staff. If you cannot meet the minimum ability standard then you will need to have lessons until you can ski safely without guidance.

At what age can my children start?

The centre caters for children from 3 years upwards (smallest boot is a 7) with our half hour private lessons. We do offer “Penguins” classes for ages 4½ to 6 years and our main Junior classes start at 6 year old.
