Local Businesses and Healthy Working Lives Award

The Healthy Working Lives Award supports employers and employees to develop health promotion and safety themes in a practical, logical way, that's beneficial to all.

• some members of staff undertaking a Safety Advisor on line training course
• Awareness sessions with Healthy Working Lives trainers
• Running our own healthy eating lunches
• A "Stair Climbing " challenge to help us all get fitter

We have just started working towards the Bronze Award and it looks like being as much fun as the activities we have participated in so far. These activities have helped team building too. Through the award scheme we hope to build on what we have done so far and keep health matters on our workplace agenda."
