Bo'ness Town Hall is located within Glebe Park on Stewart Avenue and is a 'B' listed building popular for weddings, parties, amateur concerts, school concerts, dance and exercise classes, exhibitions and a variety of fund-raising events.
The venue holds a Falkirk Council wedding license which allows the ceremony and reception to be held in the one location with the surrounding gardens and bandstand making a perfect setting for photographs.
The building consists of the main hall, stage and upper balcony area, complete with dressing rooms to the rear of the stage. Professional lighting systems are available to the main hall area under separate charges if so requested and agreed with technical staff.
Unisex disabled toilets and toilet facilities are provided off the main hall.
The Auditorium (first floor) and Library areas are available for hire for smaller meetings/functions/events. The bar area, located within the library area must be hired for the sale of alcohol. (For weddings and larger functions both the library and bar area must both be hired jointly).
A commercial caterer use only kitchen can be made available for an additional charge. Separate facilities can be hired for the provision of snacks, teas and coffee etc if so requested.
Off street parking is available in the grounds for approximately fifty cars.
Disabled access
There is a disabled person ramp to the front of the building which provides access to the main hall only. With assistance, access can be made to the library area; however there is no disabled person access to the Auditorium located on the first floor or to the main hall balcony area also located on the first floor.
