Central Purchasing provides advice and hands-on assistance covering all aspects of purchasing to all Council Services. We also head a joint purchasing arrangement with Stirling and Clackmannanshire Councils and provide a purchasing service to Central Scotland Fire and Rescue Service.
Our aim is to provide best value by obtaining the goods and services required at the most advantageous terms while ensuring full compliance with all relevant legislation including European Community laws and our own Council Financial Regulations and Contract Standing Orders.
