Falkirk Council, Ground Maintenance inspects and maintains over 150 play areas through the Falkirk Council District.
The inspections are carried out:

weekly - visual inspection by grounds maintenance employees

monthly - inspection by grounds maintenance playground fitters

annually - inspection carried out be an independent external engineer
Maintenance and repair of playground equipment are generated following an inspection or from an enquiry from a member of the public.
