The Council’s Litter Strategy team are here to provide support and encouragement for local projects against litter. Within the team, our Community Litter Officer gives dedicated assistance for communities taking action against litter and related problems in their area.
There is a wide range of support and assistance available to you. We can provide general information and guidance, or come along to meetings to discuss particular local issues. If your group would like to take action, we can help you arrange a clean up|, or simply provide the equipment for the day|. We also have a number of posters and promotional items available to promote the message “Litter: There’s No Excuse”.

We are also currently developing a Community resource pack|. The pack will provide comprehensive information to local community organisations on topics such as how to set up a group, how to organise events and fundraising.
