The Facilities Management Division comprises two operations:

This Division carries out a range of activities related to the maintenance and servicing of Council properties.
Building Maintenance
The Building Maintenance operation is responsible for:

maintenance of Council housing

maintenance of other Council properties

improvement projects
-
manufacture of timber windows and doors
-
provision of emergency response service for housing and non-housing properties
-
gas maintenance
Building Services
The Building Services operation is responsible for:

school meals
-
meals on wheels service and lunch clubs
-
hot and cold meals, table served, buffets and coffee service to Council employees, Elected Members and attendees at civic functions and events

building cleaning of council properties including schools, libraries, offices and residential homes

window cleaning
-
public conveniences
