As a business operating in the Falkirk Council area there are a number of ways in which you can show your support for the Litter Strategy and really help to make a difference in your area.
The following are some ideas of how you might participate:
Display an anti-litter campaign poster to raise awareness of the problem amongst your customers
Think about the packaging you use for your products and whether it could be reduced or changed to minimise its impact if it subsequently becomes litter.
Consider undertaking additional cleaning of areas in the immediate vicinity of your premises including your shop frontage (especially after peak business periods), storage areas, car parks etc. We can provide litter picking equipment, etc. to help you do this.
Consider supporting – either financially or in kind – local community campaigns against litter. We can advise you of activities in your area.
Ensure your staff are made aware of the problem, and trained in good waste and litter management.
