Green Dog Walkers is a pilot project supported by Falkirk Council Litter Strategy Team in partnership with Community Green Initiative (Dunipace, Denny & District).
The Green Dog Walkers project is funded by the Earlsburn Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund administered by the Scottish Community Foundation.
What's the Green Armband for?
If you see someone wearing the Green Dog walkers armband, it means they have "Taken the Pledge"

Did you know that primary school children and footballers are most at risk from diseases from dog fouling? After it has lain on the ground for 2 weeks, worms develop and these diseases and others can result: toxacara canis, roundworm, salmonella, E-coli, resulting in pneumonia, asthma and blindness.
However, it IS SAFE to clean it up "on the spot"!
