Outwith office hours, you must call our 24hr Emergency Service number - 01324 503050. If you contact this number without good cause you may incur a charge
Before you call

Look up the repair in the Repairs book if you have access to one, and check what information we need from you. The book lists many of the repair problems that may happen in your home.

Note down the information you need to give to us. If you give us detailed information we can often avoid the need for an inspection to be carried out. We can then process the repair quicker and get a contractor out to fix the problem promptly.

Inspections
An inspection may be made to assess the problem and determine whether a repair is necessary. The contractor will then be instructed to carry out the repair.
Carrying out the work
If required the contractor will contact you to arrange a suitable time for the work to be carried out. All Contractors are required to carry identification.
Quality checks
Random telephone calls and site inspections will be carried out to ensure repairs have been completed to a satisfactory standard.
