What can I do if I'm homeless but not in priority need

If, following our investigations, you are homeless but not in priority need, in terms of the law, you will be offered temporary housing, for a reasonable period of time, while you find somewhere else to live.

Our staff can help you complete housing application forms and give detailed advice on all of your housing options. This will include:
  • details of council house stock and availability
  • details of housing available from other Registered Social Landlords in the area (i.e. Housing Associations)
  • renting from a private landlord
  • buying a house

Our booklet “A guide to applying for a house in the Falkirk Council area|” gives further information about applying for a house from the Council.
