Innovation and Investment Fund
On 3 February 2011 the Scottish Government announced a new £50m Innovation and Investment Fund for 2011-12 to allow all suppliers to build new affordable housing. The fund is split into three funding streams:

Council house building (social rent)
-
RSL building (primarily for social rent but can include other elements of affordable housing)

An innovative fund open to all providers (for all forms of affordable housing tenure).
