Financial Education is teaching focused on personal finance of pupils, rather than courses covering financial services more generally.
This might be in the form of specific classes or workshops or it can be incorporated into other subjects such as Maths, PSHE or Business Studies.

A recent fact finding exercise highlighted that from a 57% response rate from schools and nurseries in the Falkirk Council area, 91% are currently delivering some aspects of personal finance education although this is mainly incorporated into another lesson or takes the form of occasional events.
