This project aims to support minority ethnic individuals to access training opportunities, acquire skills and increase their employability. The project is seeking to:

  • Further identify and tackle old and emerging gaps and barriers to training and employment through action research
  • Work with mainstream providers and working with employers to highlight the labour market issues for minority ethnic people
  • Provide a first port-of call facility to build people's confidence before referring them to other agencies
  • Provide one-to-one support including job search assistance, career options for young people, guidance, CV preparation, mentoring and coaching.
