This project is a continuation and enhancement of the Housing Estates Regeneration Outcomes Project (HEROS) which delivers environmental improvements within communities with the additional benefit of providing training opportunities for young people not in education, employment or training (NEET).
Delivered by the Council's Housing Services and supported by the Employment and Training Unit, the project will include two squads. The first squad will implement a number of community directed environmental improvements in all of the targeted areas within the worst 15% i.e. within Bo'ness, Camelon, Dawson, Denny, Grangemouth, High Flats, Maddiston, Thornhill Road / Westfield and Westquarter
The second squad will focus its activities within Hallglen to complete the work started under the previous project to meet the considerable environmental challenges within this area.
