This project focuses on delivering a key transition service to young people between the ages of 14-19 with a learning disability or other supported need, currently attending or recently having left Carrongrange School – Falkirk Council's only secondary school for pupils with moderate, severe and complex additional support needs.
The project will deliver work placements and the process will also include:

Engagement – initial discussions and agreement of young people's expectations, involvement and co-operation of parents and carers and teachers

Vocational profiling – helping young people to identify their skills and preferences for work

Advice and Guidance

Income Maximisation – referring to local services to help young people and their families ensure that they have an understanding of entitlements
