If you live in one of the priority areas and want to find out what this project is doing specifically in your area, please contact Cptn. Philip James|.
Supported previously through the New Futures Fund, the Salvation Army Rise Higher Project works with individuals further away from the labour market. These include clients with learning difficulties, ex–offenders, clients with substance misuse issues and long term unemployed.
Over a three month programme, clients participate in a variety of classes including computer skills, literacy and numeracy and activities to improve social skills and self esteem.
Referrals to the programme come from a range of partner organisations.
