If you live in one of the priority areas and want to find out what this project is doing specifically in your area, please contact Fiona Craig|.
This project will provide support for 7 residents living and working in the Falkirk Council Area regeneration areas to complete their community development and training. The programme has been funded to date through the Community Regeneration Fund and it is estimated that the existing students will complete their training by the summer of 2009.
Students on the programme undertake work experience placements (with a range of local regeneration and community development agencies) and, at the same time, study and train to a professional qualifying level in community learning and development.
Trainees receive a qualification upon completion of the programme and are recognised as a professional community learning and development worker.
