If you live in one of the priority areas and want to find out what this project is doing specifically in your area, please contact Elizabeth Godfrey|.
This project will upgrade the play and recreational facilities in Westfield Park. The Tenants and Residents Association have completed a detailed community survey and have identified this as a priority for the area, and have also consulted with local young people regarding the type of facilities that would be suitable.
They are now aiming to use the agreed funding from the Fairer Scotland Fund to draw in match funding in order to create the best possible upgrade of the facilities, possibly including a multi-use games area for teenagers and play equipment for younger children.
