This project seeks to support parents to access education, training and employment by providing a range of support services including access to affordable childcare. The key targets for the project are workless parents and families in receipt of welfare benefits. This project is based on the successful delivery model - Working for Families.
The project is a key strand of the Community Planning Partnership's contribution to the Workforce Plus Action Plan which places emphasis on more effective engagement of the harder to reach and harder to help, creating an employability pathway which meets the needs of these client groups.
