Community safety is central to the people of Falkirk’s quality of life.
Community safety is based on the premise that public safety is of importance to all local communities and that everyone should be safe, and feel safe, in their own community and in their own home.
Safe communities also promote healthy communities where mental and physical health and community wellbeing is created in an environment where people do not live in fear and feel able to go out and engage in social activities.
Safe communities support the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of an area and vice versa.
