Strategic community planning

Community planning is a way we can all work together – agencies, organisations, individuals and communities, to plan and deliver better services in all our area. We hope to make a real improvement in the quality of our communities and importantly the lives of individuals who live, work and visit the Falkirk Council area.

To achieve this we:

  • set a long term vision for our area
  • set clear objectives and priorities to achieve that vision
  • developed a more co-ordinated approach in all that we do
  • ensured we focus on our impact on our communities in all that we do
  • ensured that our approach makes a difference locally.
