Falkirk Council is one of four local authorities enjoying Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) priority area status until 2013 – this means that there is additional support available to groups and organisations that have projects eligible for funding under HLF grant programmes.
HLF's programmes range from Young Roots and Your Heritage which offer grants from £3000 to Parks for People whose upper limit is £5 million.
Lori Kika, HLF's Development Officer with special responsibility for this area, has already held information sessions and met with a number of groups. If you have any ideas or projects in mind that might be eligible, Lori would be happy to discuss these with you.

Eligible projects will help people learn about their own and other people's heritage and have elements of either conservation or community involvement (or both).
