Artists and Craft Makers Award Scheme

Visual Artists Awards

Craft Makers Awards

Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling Councils are committed to supporting the work of their resident Artists and Craft Makers, encouraging innovative professional practice.

Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling Councils, in partnership with the Scottish Arts Council (SAC), have established 2 Forth Valley wide award schemes.

Forth Valley Visual Artist Awards Scheme and Forth Valley Craft Award Scheme are a means of assisting individuals with the immediate costs of researching, creating and presenting new work. We want applicants in the area to be ambitious. The fund will prioritise applications that explore the full potential for ongoing creative development of their work.

The next deadline for the Craft Makers and Visual Artists Award Schemes is Monday 08 February 2010.

Awards are available from £100 to a maximum of £1000.

Who can apply

  • Artists and Craft Makers resident in the Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling Council areas, working in contemporary visual arts or crafts.
  • Artists and Craft Makers who can demonstrate a commitment to their work and to advancing their skills and ideas.
  • Artists and Craft Makers of all ages.
