Fair trading legislation is enforced by Trading Standards to ensure a fair trading environment for consumers and businesses in the Falkirk Council area. The legislation applies to goods and services including counterfeit goods, clocked cars, property misdescriptions and package holidays.
Enforcement is achieved through the inspection of premises, sampling and testing of goods, the investigation of complaints by consumers and the provision of advice and information to consumers and traders.

Personal callers are welcome between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday-Friday, however, it is advisable to make a prior appointment.
