Modern Apprenticeships

Are you aged between 16 and 18 years and looking for training or employment?

If so, then the Modern Apprenticeship Programme could be the answer.

Services
  • We offer work-based training opportunities in a wide variety of occupational areas.
  • As part of our quality approach, you will develop an individual plan to assist you in reaching your employment aim.
  • You are offered guidance and support throughout the programme and assistance is provided in searching for appropriate employment.
  • Further to you leaving, further support is available for up to a year to assist you in sustaining your new employment.
Training

School leavers who achieve the agreed entry requirements at standard grades are offered the opportunity to train with some of the most prestigious employers in the Falkirk area.

If you choose this route you be assured of quality on-the-job training and support combined with complementary training delivered by a qualified member of staff at a college or at your workplace.

Successful achievement of your training will lead to the award of a recognised modern apprenticeship, which is a Level 3 qualification.

Work experience

The Modern Apprenticeship Programme provides you with practical work experience whilst undertaking a nationally recognised qualification at a higher level. During your training you will be paid a wage, which will comply with national minimum wage requirements.

The range of qualifications and occupational areas is wide and if there is any area of work in which you wish  to train please contact:
