Project Overview
The final element of the e-Planning project will be available late 2010/early 2011. ePlanning is a Scottish Government led initiative which focuses on the introduction of online facilities to provide an improved level of service from all Planning Authorities.
The project has provided:
-
a facility to enable the online submission of planning applications and appeals.
-
an online information system for tracking applications and viewing associated documents,
-
agreed standards of electronic communication between planning authorities and statutory consultees, and
-
a facility to publish an interactive online local development plan.
In addition to providing all facilities covered by the e-Planning Project, Falkirk Council will provide an online information facility for Building Standards applications and an interactive Building Standards Register.
