If you operate food premises you may need to be approved by Falkirk Council.
Examples of types of premises that are required to be approved by Falkirk Council are stand alone (ie not attached to a slaughter house, cutting plant or game handling establishment).

Consumer complaint
The Local Authority where the food was purchased should be contacted in the event of a complaint relating to food. To make a food complaint to Falkirk Council please visit our food complaint| page for further information.
We would always advise that in the event of a complaint the first contact is made with the trader by you - preferably in the form of a letter. Please ensure you obtain proof of delivery.
If the outcome is still unsatisfactory, UK residents may contact Consumer Direct| for further advice. Residents from outside the UK can contact the UK European Consumer Centre|.
Other redress
For example; complaints about noise, pollution, etc. should be directed to the Environmental Protection Unit|.
